Last night Casey took me on a date! Chick Fil A just opened this weekend in Logan and I have been raised loving Chick Fil A! It is a really popular restaurant in Arizona, so every time we are in Arizona I always have to eat Chick Fil A at least once. When I saw that Logan was getting a Chick Fil A let's just say that I was more than a little excited! So Casey took me to Chick Fil A for dinner... and then to Harry Potter 7 part 1! Oh I was so excited! I love Harry Potter! I have read every book at least once and we own every movie that has come out so far. The movie was great! It wasn't as action packed as most of the movies are, but the first part of book 7 wasn't as action packed because the story had to be set up. I am so excited for the 2nd part to come out on our anniversary! We will for sure be going to the midnight premiere of that movie! Our friends Jesse & Ashley Crawford also came with us on the date so that made it extra fun! Ashley & I are a lot alike in the fact that we both LOVE Harry Potter and LOVE fantasy books, so it was a lot of fun to go on a double date with them!
I am having a hard time being motivated today. I am all anxious (don't ask me why. My body tends to decide to be anxious at random), and I just don't want to do anything. I have a psychology test on Monday (I know, what kind of evil professor makes you take an exam the week of Thanksgiving?) and I should be studying for it. I should also be cleaning my apartment because it needs to be done horribly bad! I just don't know where my motivation has gone. I definitely think that it is time for Thanksgiving Break. I am at the point in the semester where I really don't want to do anything but be a lazy butt and read fun books instead of textbooks. Oh well, I can make it until Monday when my test is over right?
I get to go home on Wednesday for Thanksgiving break! I am so excited! It has been a while since I have been home and I miss my family. My sister is going to dye my hair dark while I am there, so I am excited for that change! Casey has never seen my hair dark, so he is excited to see what it looks like! My aunts are also going to be there for Thanksgiving, so I am excited to see them too! We are also taking family pictures, so that will be fun as well! All in all I am just really ready to be at home. For the past 4 weeks we have stayed in Logan, so it is definitely time for us to get our of here and spend some time with family.
Well, I probably better go do something productive. Or at least try.

Thankful Hand Turkeys :)
Every year my mother in law has all of us make thankful hand turkeys. We trace our hands and then decorate them however we want and write what we are thankful for on the turkey. These are pictures of our turkeys, but they aren't finished yet. We didn't have any glue, so we have to wait to glue everything on and then add what we are thankful for. I love this tradition! I think it is so cute and most of the time I can get through it with a minimal amount of frustration (me and anything artsy/craftsy don't get along). I decided to do mine as a Utah State football player this year because I LOVE football and I LOVE the Aggies! Casey's is a storm trooper from Star Wars.. as you can see, he gets his talent from him momma! His is a lot more intricate than mine haha.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We lost our camera a while ago, and we have looked everywhere. We are pretty sure that someone stole it at a football game or something :( We are hoping that we can get a new one for Christmas. We decided not to go on our cruise because it was just too expensive, but we will be heading to California for a week in January and I can't wait! We are going to have so much fun! So I hope we have more of a camera than our phones so that we can capture all of the fun we have while we are there! School is almost over! I can't believe how quickly this semester has gone. Having practicum has really helped it go quickly. I am in a 5th grade classroom right now. Initially I was so scared because I am not used to working with the older kids, but I actually really like it! Who knows, maybe one day I will teach 5th grade! I get to teach for half of the day in a few weeks and I am really excited for that! It will be a good learning experience I think. I am almost done with my student teaching application... kinda crazy that I will be applying to student teach and GRADUATE next semester! It's crazy how fast college has flown by. I'm excited though! Casey is still working hard and ready for the semester to be over. We are thinking we will be moving to Kaysville in May so that he can start studying to be an EMT/Firefighter and the DATC there, so that is also exciting! Well I will stop going on... Happy soon to be Thanksgiving! :)
