New background!
I figured that it was about time to get a new blog background and I LOVE this one! Totally cute... cannot believe it is going to be OCTOBER on Saturday. What the?! Where has time gone? Also... this week is dragging...I know... the days drag, but the weeks and months fly by. Not sure how that works out.

5 things it would be wise to 'forget not' by President Uchtdorf
Last night I went to the General Relief Society broadcast and President Uchtdorf's talk really stuck with me. It was an amazing talk, so I wanted to share the 5 things that it would be wise to 'forget not' with you. :)
1. Forget not to be patient with yourself
2. Forget not the difference between a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice
3. Forget not the happiness that surrounds you
4. Forget not the "why" of the gospel
5. Forget not that the Lord loves YOU
I would urge everyone to listen to his talk... it was amazing! :)

Oh ya... one more thing....
I might have been able to get a teaching job if we could afford for me to work part time... one of the teachers that I work with asked if I would be able to work part time because another teacher wanted to go part time...unfortunately we can't afford that :( oh well! Hopefully there will be another job out there for me!
Hey guys....
We are still here! I know I haven't really been posting a whole ton lately... mostly just random things my students say, etc. but we are still here! The past few weeks have been CRAZY busy for us! 2 weeks ago I got out of school and went straight to Pocatello for my sister's bachelorette party! We had a BLAST! It was tons of fun! Last weekend, I left school right when the kids did and we headed to Pocatello for Branden & Aubri's wedding! It was a beautiful wedding and we are so excited to be able to officially call Branden our brother now! Congrats to the Arnold's! :)
More pictures to come when they all get edited :)
Life isn't really slowing down much! If anything it feels like it is speeding up. I only have 2 and a half weeks left teaching in the 4th grade and I can't believe it! I am SO sad! I swear I am finally used to everything in there and now I am going to have to get used to another classroom! Oh well... that just gets me that much closer to graduation! Next weekend we are going to this...
and I CANNOT WAIT! We haven't been to any football games this season since we are living in Layton, so we figured the Utah State vs. BYU game was the way to go! The tickets were pricy, but I feel like it will be worth it! GO AGGIES! BEAT THEM COUGARS! :) Well that's our lives for now! Hopefully I will post a little bit more in the future than I have been!

It's A.......
BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No friends, I am not pregnant... but my sister-in-law Crystal is! Nephew # 6 is on the way and due January 26th (he is going to come 9 days early so that he is born on Aunt Ashley's birthday). We are totally excited to have another nephew coming! We King's really know what to do with boys, so we are excited! With every nephew born the odds of any of us having a girl go down, but it's okay! We are happy to have another little man on the way!
CONGRATS AARON & CRYSTAL!!!!! :)

Calling Dilemma...
Alright readers, whoever you may be! I need some advice from you....so, flash back to my sophomore year in college in my single's ward. They call me to be the ward choir director. I cry and say yes I will do it I guess even though I am shocked they would call me to be the ward choir director. Needless to say I faithfully served in my calling until the end of the school year when I moved. It definitely wasn't my favorite calling, and I really hoped I would NEVER have to do it again.....Back to present day.....Casey and I moved into a family ward and one of the counselors was interviewing us one day and asked what callings I had had....I made the mistake of mentioning choir-and after I said that he wouldn't let me tell him any of the other callings I had had...I walked out of that interview just knowing that they were going to ask me to be the choir director. I cried for weeks, was angry for weeks...and I still really hate being the choir director. It makes me dread going to church because I know I will have to have choir practice afterwards...so to all of you trusty readers I ask this question....would it be bad for me to ask to be released? I know I shouldn't be so negative about this calling, but I feel like it is kind of hindering my spiritual side of life...any suggestions?
