Every year my mother in law has all of us make thankful hand turkeys. We trace our hands and then decorate them however we want and write what we are thankful for on the turkey. These are pictures of our turkeys, but they aren't finished yet. We didn't have any glue, so we have to wait to glue everything on and then add what we are thankful for. I love this tradition! I think it is so cute and most of the time I can get through it with a minimal amount of frustration (me and anything artsy/craftsy don't get along). I decided to do mine as a Utah State football player this year because I LOVE football and I LOVE the Aggies! Casey's is a storm trooper from Star Wars.. as you can see, he gets his talent from him momma! His is a lot more intricate than mine haha.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We lost our camera a while ago, and we have looked everywhere. We are pretty sure that someone stole it at a football game or something :( We are hoping that we can get a new one for Christmas. We decided not to go on our cruise because it was just too expensive, but we will be heading to California for a week in January and I can't wait! We are going to have so much fun! So I hope we have more of a camera than our phones so that we can capture all of the fun we have while we are there! School is almost over! I can't believe how quickly this semester has gone. Having practicum has really helped it go quickly. I am in a 5th grade classroom right now. Initially I was so scared because I am not used to working with the older kids, but I actually really like it! Who knows, maybe one day I will teach 5th grade! I get to teach for half of the day in a few weeks and I am really excited for that! It will be a good learning experience I think. I am almost done with my student teaching application... kinda crazy that I will be applying to student teach and GRADUATE next semester! It's crazy how fast college has flown by. I'm excited though! Casey is still working hard and ready for the semester to be over. We are thinking we will be moving to Kaysville in May so that he can start studying to be an EMT/Firefighter and the DATC there, so that is also exciting! Well I will stop going on... Happy soon to be Thanksgiving! :)
cute!!
