I just have to document this before I forget it. Since it is my first year teaching I do have a lot of firsts, but this is one I didn't expect...A boy in my class swallowed a nickel yesterday. Yes, a nickel. He tried to shove one down another boy's throat, so that boy did the same to him and well (we'll call him James) swallowed the nickel. Oh the joys of my job... :)
