Today I am grateful for my calling. I teach Gospel Doctrine in my ward (which means I teach the adults ages 18-100 or older). I will admit when I got this calling I was freaking out. What would 23 year old me be able to teach people who have way more gospel experience than I do? I don't know if I do teach them much, but I think that I do bring a fresh perspective and approach to the class. I would have never thought that I would be grateful for this calling...it's the calling no one ever wants to have, but I have actually really enjoyed it so far. I guess it makes sense since I am a teacher, so I teach every day of my life...why wouldn't I enjoy this right? I am grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the gospel and to share it with the people in my class. :) Heavenly Father really does know what he is doing friends...sometimes it may take us out of our comfort zone, but in the end we learn and grow and become better for it.
