Realizations...

I just got back from a few days in Logan. I was there for a student teaching workshop where they focused on applying for jobs and interviewing mostly. I had some realizations while I was there and driving home:
  • I don't miss the wind. :)
  • I don't miss the lack of radio stations
  • I don't miss the Main Street traffic
  • Campus looks like a bunch of high school kids took it over
  • I don't feel like a college student. I feel more like an alumni.
  • And the biggest realization: Logan is no longer my home. It will always hold a special place in my heart, but it just doesn't feel like my home anymore. I think going to Logan was great for me because it made me realize that it is alright that I don't live there anymore and that where I live is the perfect place for me to be right now. :)

  1. That's a little how I feel when I come back for school after every summer. I have noticed a minor improvement in radio stations though.
