Student Teaching

Student teaching is still going well! 3rd grade has been great! I have been teaching like crazy and the kids have been learning like crazy too! I LOVE teaching so much! I have a screening interview on the 14th for Davis School District! I am pretty excited :) Hopefully I can get a job! One thing I have been kind of worried about is the fact that I don't have my ESL endorsement... I need to get it, but I really need to start working. So frustrating sometimes, but I am just going to keep the faith and hope that I can get a job without it for now. In the future I really would like to get a Master's degree, but for now I am ready to take a break for a minute! I have been getting in touch with my crafty side in this 3rd grade class... my cooperating teacher is really crafty, so I have been able to do some craft projects. A few coming up in the future: These are TOTALLY easy, but since Veteran's Day is next week I figured we would use these to decorate our classroom for the holiday. :) Terra cotta pot turkeys! They are SO cute and I can't wait to make them with the kids before Thanksgiving! We are also going to be doing these Thankful poems and putting them on a turkey in our classroom. I get a lot of these ideas from a teacher's webpage. She gives out freebies every week, so I take some of the cute things and do them! Anyways... I am probably boring you with all of my teacher talk... it is basically all that I do though!
