I have been so fortunate to have such a great pregnancy. Here are some of the things that I have loved about being pregnant and that I have considered blessings during pregnancy:
- Not having morning sickness. This was one of the biggest blessings for me. I was so lucky to be able to feel mostly normal during the beginning of pregnancy.
- Being able to feel the little man moving. At first it was very faint, but I feel him all the time now and it is so fun to be able to feel him and to know that he is still doing okay.
- Being able to share this experience with Casey. What an amazing husband I have. :) He is going to be the most adorable daddy. He talks to the baby every day and can't wait to be able to hold him.
- Being able to function and work the whole time I have been pregnant. I have really felt mostly normal during this pregnancy and it has been a huge blessing.
- Not being put on bed rest because of the crazy stress that I am under...it really is a blessing from Heavenly Father that this baby is growing and developing without any problems...work and ESL have been way too stressful this year and I am glad that the baby has been okay.
- Being healthy. You always hear that pregnant women are sick a lot because of their suppressed immune systems, but I have been very fortunate to stay healthy. So far I have only been sick once and I was able to kick the sickness quickly.
- Basically I have been so blessed and looked after by my Father in Heaven. There's no way I could have made it through without his love and support. I can't wait to meet this sweet little boy that is coming to our home. Although I am still pretty nervous and scared, I am also so excited to meet my son and to become a parent with Casey. :)

Here are a few of the things about pregnancy that haven't been so fun:
- Having to give up certain types of foods (like steak the way I like it cooked & Coke). It has been worth the sacrifice, but I am looking forward to being able to eat whatever I want without it harming the baby. I do know that some foods can't be eaten while breastfeeding though, so i'm not expecting it to go back to normal immediately.
- The burning rib pain. My ribs feel like they are on fire a lot.
- My back hurting as a result of my ribs expanding.
- People telling me I don't look pregnant enough....that's annoying.
- That's really about it...overall pregnancy has been great! I told Casey if all of my pregnancies were like this one I could be pregnant all the time...it makes me worry that labor is going to be a nightmare haha.

The belly is definitely beginning to grow now. The little man just keeps growing! It is also nice to finally have a belly so that people stop telling me I don't look pregnant, etc. It has been fun to watch my belly grow...I will miss it when it's gone and I will miss feeling the baby move all the time, but it will be so worth it to actually have him here with us!
I finally gave in and bought a pair of maternity pants. Most of my jeans just don't fit and the belly band just isn't cutting it anymore. Plus, as far as maternity jeans go these aren't that horrible...and they were only $15 at Ross! Totally worth it if you ask me!
Casey & I finally decided to grow up and buy a comforter for our bed! We used some left over Christmas money to help. It is very nice and comfy. :) Anyways, there's a little update for you! I have two baby showers coming up in the next few weeks, so I will post after those! :)

Isn't pregnancy such a neat experience?! So glad it's been good to you!
